Do you have a free trial or pilot?
Yes. Teachers can start with a free trial, and schools can pilot Checkmark in real classes, alongside the tools they already use, before rolling it out more widely.
How are School & District quotes determined?
We scope each quote to your school: how many students need access, which LMS and integrations you use, and how much setup and training help your team wants. We work within your district's purchasing process, including your own vendor and student data privacy agreements.
Can Checkmark be set up around how our school works?
Yes. Integrations and features can be turned on or off for each school, a license can cover a whole school or a smaller group, and the autograder works from your teachers' own rubrics, with a teacher reviewing every grade before students see it.
Can we use single sign-on?
Yes. Google and Microsoft sign-in are included with School & District plans.
Do you train on student work?
No. Student submissions aren't used to train general models. Processing is solely for integrity checks, grading, and reporting.
How is data protected?
Connections are encrypted, backups are encrypted, and each teacher, student and administrator sees only what their role allows. Our Security page has the details.
